Scott and I had a nice time once we got home from our trip. The relaxing and getting back into routine didn't last long. A great love story had come to an end and we needed to go and be part of the ending.
The story began a long time ago with a blind date. That blind date led to a lifetime of love and a loving family. From what I've heard, Grandma Ezola was a scaredy cat. Numerous stories confirm that fact. She had said multiple times, "I have to die first because I'm too scared to stay in the house along, but Dave, you know where I'll be and I don't want to be alone there very long either." She passed away
on July 7th. Well, Grandpa was a well trained husband and did as Grandma wished. 15 days later, he joined his lovely bride in Heaven.
We flew down to Utah on a Thursday, stayed for the weekend, attended Grandpa's funeral on Monday morning and then back home that night.
It was a sad, yet happy, event. Everyone still here on Earth will miss both Grandma and Grandpa. However, the Plan of Salvation helps ease us through this time. With our knowledge of the Gospel, we know that Grandma & Grandpa have had a glorious reunion! They are back with each other in their perfect bodies.
I know that this is a repeat picture, but I am so thankful that we were able to see them before they passed on. Kasila will miss out on knowing them while growing up, but she will definitely hear stories about her Great Grandma and Grandpa Ezola.
