Scott was finally able to take a weekend and get started on the girls' new beds. He essentially made two twin beds, but able to be bunk beds. Since Lynnix is still in a crib, we just aren't putting the bottom bed totally together yet. Kasila gets a loft bed until then. She picked out her bed color and we decided to do Lynnix's pink. He made removable rails, and he made them high enough so that we can put some large drawers to be made underneath.

I printed out some alphabet and number actives. Kasila loves her new puzzles, as she calls them.
A day in mom's classroom.
Students would never get away with this

Kasila enjoying her new bed!
It is kind of annoying for Scott and I to get up on it, but oh well. We have to lift Kasila on and off right now because Scott is making stairs that will also be more storage/shelves. They are in the process currently. The stairs will make it much nicer for the adults needing to get up there.
A visitor in our yard prompted a safety talk with Kasila.
"Moose can be dangerous. If you are outside and you see a moose, walk quickly and quietly back to the house. If you can't get to the house, make sure a big tree is between you the moose."
Lovely afternoon :)

We have a stander!
Funny faces at my school's Lunch with a Loved One. We tricked Daddy into coming :)
My school also had a Science/Art night. Lynnix and Daddy stayed home while Kasila and I had a good time.
Surface tension
water, pepper, dish soap, qtip
baking soda, shaving cream into a ball, dropped into vinegar
oil pastels on a table….Kasila's favorite
There was also painting with circles, a family hand picture, paper airplanes, name design
Sandy the sandhill crane.
Kasila thought he was loud but cool.
