At her 9 month check up, she weighed in at 16.3 1/2 oz (18th percentile) and 27" (27th percentile). The Dr. thinks there was a mistake in her height either at her 6 month appt or this last appt. According to their notes, she hasn't grown at all in 3 months. She forgot to remeasure but I did a rough remeasure at home and she's somewhere between 27 & 28 inches. We started giving her little snacks. We actually started with a dry ice cream cone. She really enjoyed that. Now we're doing the puff snack, yogurt bites and small pieces of random food. The only thing we are really keeping away from is straight cow's milk. Baby Sila still doesn't have any teeth! I'm not worried and I'm actually pretty ok with her not having any yet. The longer they stay in the gums (up to about a year) the healthier they'll be. I'm getting in the routine of brushing her gums, but at least now it's mainly a routine and not a big necessity.
She didn't want to keep the headband on, so I put it on Sparkles. Apparently, no one is to wear a headband.
Kasila and Kepler at a wedding reception. She loves to try to grab his face. Hopefully, they'll get along and be good friends when they get a little older.
We went to the store and this is how she rode in the cart the WHOLE time. She doesn't like to be backwards. She wants to know what is going on and be a part of it as much as she can!
Being cute is tiring :) This is the first time she's fallen asleep while eating. Thanks to Jodi for sending me the pic. It made my day at school :)
