Spring Break…Reveal…Other Fun
Kasila playing Animal Memory.
If you aren't careful, she's a little cheat. However, she does have a good memory and can easily find the matching animals parts.
She wanted a picture with her winning animals.
Elsa!
Nan sent this adorable out to Kasila as a late (late) Christmas present. :)
Spring Break! We spent a day in Anchorage.
Kasila helped us with making our new quilt.
Scott was also accommodating by wearing a scarf on his head because Kasila wanted him to.
So sweet!
Scott called on his way home and told Kasila to watch for him. She got her "scope" and watched for his car.
Kasila showing off her butterfly clip in her hair.
We found out the gender of our new little one!
(90% sure at least. She wasn't very cooperative for the ultrasound tech.)
Our finished quilt and pillow cases
Scott was a big part of choosing the fabrics. :)
Kasila has been fighting her naps. Today, this is how she feel asleep at 6:30.

Another Month Has Passed
Kasila sledding… we did have some snow for a little bit :)
We couldn't find her other glove so we used a couple of socks.
She decided to be a kitty while trying on the hat.
Snuggled in and so cute!
Kasila had to come visit my classroom one morning. Scott had a shift the night the before, and they had a fire call around 5am. Luckily, he made to the school just has students were being let in.
This is how she usually likes to dress as well.
Skirt, regular shirt, leggings/tights, her cowboy boots, and hat hair from her newly acquired kitty hat.
Kasila asked me to take a picture of her with hat on her horse...
and then with her legos.
She had to put on her shirt Grandma Gummi (Montgomery) brought back for her from Florida the moment she saw it and have a picture taken.
Valentine lunch with this cutie. She really likes parmesan cheese.
We went and hung out with the Breshears. Kasila and Kepler had a blast together!
Kepler is just tall enough to shut off the lights, and Kasila can barely reach to turn them on. It was hilarious to watch them go back and forth.
I know you can't see it, but Kasila let me put her hair in a pony tail. That hasn't happened for a long time! Then she gave me this adorable face.
She dressed herself completely for the first time!
A backwards shirt and 2 different skirts.
Playing with Daddy at the fire station.
We have a visitor!
The next day Kasila asked me where the moose was.
I told her that I didn't know.
Her resonse, "Go find moose."
um..no thank you
Finally, an update on baby #2.
I'm currently about 18 weeks.
We will hopefully find out the gender on Mar. 134

January Happenings
Ok so this photo was technically taken in Nov, but I realized I hadn't posted any of the family pictures we took. It was cold and Kasila wasn't super cooperative, but we still got some fairly cute ones.
P.S. Kasila is going to be a big sister!
Kasila has really taken a liking to her cowgirl hat and her new boots. She wears them all the time!
Learning how to cook. Maybe she'll enjoy it more than I do. Scott enjoys it for the most part so hopefully we can turn it into more of a family activity.
Happy New Year!
Kasila didn't really like the big fireworks.
When neighbors would shoot them off, she would run to one of us and say "Scared! Scared!"
So we just lit a few sparklers and called it good.
Scott later went out on a fire call so at midnight, both us girls were asleep and he was out working.
Speaking of fires that Scott has responded to...
I have been out with a really bad cold this past week. Being pregnant makes it much more difficult to deal with since there's not much that can be done. I took today off which ended up being a good thing. Scott responded to a fire just before 5am and is still currently work the site/clean up and it is almost 8pm. LONG DAY for both of us. Kasila has been great, especially with me being sick, however she really needs to be able to get out and do more than I have been able to do.
Around 5:30pm, I called Scott and ended up taking him some dinner. He was running a truck, mainly for light since it's still the dark season. With the approval of Chief, Kasila and I joined Scott in the Rescue truck for dinner. Kasila loved watching the "vater" at work. There were still pocket of heat and little flames would flare up, but they were mostly just making sure everything was out. It was interesting to watch and good to get out of our house.
A pic I took from Facebook that someone posted of the fire this morning.
KTUU news - about 10 am.
No one was injured, but it was a total loss.
