Week 1 is done...

Our first week of summer is in the books. Kasila LOVES being outside. Luckily for me, it has been pretty warm. Ha ha, I think high 60s is warm. Never would have thought that. We have hit in the 70's as well. Scott was mowing the lawn, so Kasila and I hung out on the porch. She worked on her beading and then she wanted her own book. She has really hit that stage where she mimics what she sees a lot! When Scott was finished, he came over and Kasila wanted to read him her Biscuit book. They are so cute together! I love it :)

People move out of Alaska all the time. It's not fun for those of us left behind, but I understand. We got to spend one more afternoon with Kesa and her kids before they head to Arizona.

We were also able to find our own new-to-us swing set at a yard sale. Kasila is pretty excited!!

And it begins...

I had posted last week pictures from our first couple of days of summer...I'm not sure what happened. Here those pictures are with some additional.

Kasila being a crocodile by chomping her teeth.

During the last week of school:
She was excited about her stick on castle earrings matching her castle shirt.

At our 5th grade lock in.... These girls were awesome babysitters for the the first part of the night. :) Kasila had a blast and I didn't feel the need to worry about her.

These girls were enjoying the "dissection room" with donated duck heads and pig hearts.
They were teasing me since I like pigs. :)

Kasila is finally old enough that she can run around my school's playground and do most of it on her own.

She also learned the joy of rolling down the hill.

Katie and I had a "high tea" that I won as a door prize. It was adorable and yummy!

Helping water the fire station lawn.

While waiting for Daddy to finish with the water, Kasila decided to pick some 'flowers...

...and have us wear them in our hair.
